Evelyn, you would have been so pleased (as I was) to
hear
the fifth grade students talking and writing about Metacognition
and
demonstrating all the information they knew about the Inuit
culture.
It was just great! (Principal, Newark, NJ)
I just finished teaching your
course Writing As Learning. Everyone
was so receptive and handed in great portfolios
Teacher Center Instructor, Long Island
One of the teachers in my Writing As Learning course
moved us
to tears with her report of the success of her 9th grade students
repeating English. They were using a Taxonomy as they read
Hamlet and asked if they could take it home to work on it.
These
students had never done homework, much less asked for it!
So you have another convert. Staff Developer, Utica,
NY
"Andy, although I have attended
many seminars, this was one
of the best. Creating a strong writing program in mathematics
will help my students be successful." Teacher, Mesquite,
TX
"Excellent resources, materials, suggestions that can
EASILY be
added to my classroom. Thank you for your work and dedication
to improving students work." Math Teacher, Armagh,
PA
"Andy, I loved the your enthusiasm,
especially as you integrated
etymology with mathematics. Also thanks for great handouts."
